Andrea Stephen joins WCB

Andrea Stephen has been appointed sales manager for the Wellington Convention Bureau (WCB) in New Zealand.  

Stephen's role in this new position will be to secure new conference and incentive business for the capital.


She previously has worked with CI Events, The Extra Mile Company and Tourism Australia and will take up her new position in July.


Positively Wellington Tourism general manager of marketing Sarah Meikle says the position – which replaces the vacant research and sales executive role – has been expanded to have a heavier sales focus in line with the regional tourism organisation’s increasing emphasis on delivering bookings to its partners.
