New look convention centre

The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre has unveiled a new interior design for its Parkside Convention Centre.

The upgrade includes floors, carpets and colour-backed glass wall panels. Other additions include integrated projection screens and digital display systems, providing greater opportunities for event organisers’ branding and signage.

The enhancements form part of a wider plan that will later see flexible walls within the Parkside Centre create more conference rooms and/or increased exhibition space.


To be completed later this year, the additional changes will allow conferences to be held within a single area or on a single level, creating a more intimate feel and better flow between plenary sessions, breakout sessions and exhibitions.
