TSA screens 2.99 million to set one-day record

The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says it screened a record 2.99 million airline passengers on Sunday, June 23.

It says it also expects to screen more than 32 million travellers during the 2024 Independence Day travel period, 5.4 per cent more than 2023 levels.
