USA carrier JetBlue Airways and Germany’s Lufthansa have signed a code-share agreement whereby the airlines will offer connecting services between 12 JetBlue destinations in the US and Puerto Rico and Lufthansa's network of 180 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The agreement requires approval from the US Department of Transportation (DOT).
