British Airways has inked a new code-share agreement with Kenya Airways, allowing its customers flying to Nairobi to seamlessly connect to 20 destinations across East and Central Africa, including Douala, Zanzibar, Lusaka, Mombasa, Addis Ababa and Entebbe, as well as offering more options to get to Mauritius and Seychelles.

Fully-vaccinated travellers from eight additional countries now are permitted to enter Singapore without the need to quarantine upon arrival. The eight are: Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Thai Airways' Australia-based marketing manager Sue Marr is among staff leaving the company as the carrier reduces staff numbers there by nearly 50 per cent. Most of those made redundant will leave by November 1.

Germany's Frankfurt-Hahn airport has filed for insolvency, blaming Covid for a near-70 per cent fall in passenger numbers.
The airport opened in 1993 and was acquired in 2017 by China's HNA. It employs some 2,000 staff.
It advertises itself on its web site as 'Germany’s first low-cost airport' and handled 1.5 million passengers in 2019.
