Transport Canada, which says it spent more than 15,000 hours reviewing safety changes to the B737 MAX, says pilots in Canada will be allowed to pull a circuit-breaker or electric fuse to silence an erroneously activated 'stick shaker' that vibrates the control column and makes a loud noise when the jet risks losing lift.

Rex moves on 'anti-competitive' Qantas

Australia's Regional Express (Rex) has asked the federal government to halt Covid-19 relief payments to flag carrier Qantas due to what Rex calls anti-competitive behaviour, citing Qantas’ launch of a route between Sydney and Orange, New South Wales, a market that saw pre-Covid traffic of some 65,000 passengers.
