Qantas, Virgin Australia launch sales

Australia's Qantas and Virgin Australia have launched sales.
Qantas has cut the price on around 600,000 seats across more than 300 destinations with fares from A$105.


The airline says there will be more than 50 routes on sale for less than A$200 one way until 20 May unless sold out prior.

Rival Virgin Australia's focus is on Queensland's Gold Coast, with fares 'from A$69 per person one way' out of east coast ports.

The Virgin sale runs until May 20.
