IndiGo to add 100 more 'smaller planes'

Indian budget airline IndiGo wants at least 100 more small planes for its regional network and is in discussions with manufacturers ATR, Embraer and Airbus.

The airline already operates 45 ATR-72 planes with 78 seats each and is set to receive five more this year, giving ATR an incumbent's advantage in negotiations.
IndiGo recently ordered 30 Airbus A350-900s for the international market.
