El Al to order about 30 MAX jets

Israel's El Al plans to acquire around 30 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft through purchases and leases, with deliveries starting in 2027.
The deal could be worth US$2-2.5 billion list, including the missile defence systems that the airline considers standard on its aircraft.
El Al currently operates B737s, B777s and B787s.
