Forbes counts the costs of Trump, Biden tariffs

Forbes reports six US airports and five seaports alone have seen their imports from China drop by more than US$1 billion this year compared to the beginning of the US-China trade war in 2018, when US tariffs on Chinese imports soared.


The overall decline in Chinese imports has been US$31.89 billion, equal to 19.79 per cent. 

By comparison, US imports globally have increased 27.91 per cent to more than US$225.48 billion.
