Emirates delays A350 launch

Dubai-based Emirates reportedly has postponed the launch of its inaugural Airbus A350 service due to aircraft delivery delays that have seen Airbus adjust its year-end aircraft delivery targets due to supply chain issues.

The delay means Emirates will not launch its planned September Airbus A350 service until November 2024, with the first flights to Edinburgh in Scotland, followed by services to Bahrain and Kuwait later that same month.

Emirates has 65 A350s on order.
