The results of a joint UK ‘proving trial’ by Heathrow, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic demonstrate the UK government can rapidly ease its ‘Amber’ quarantine policy and remove self-isolation for fully-vaccinated US and EU citizens arriving in the UK.
The group’s encouraging trial results come ahead of the UK government’s next checkpoint to review traffic light measures, due by this Saturday, 31 July.
