Florida, USA-based aircraft lessor Azorra has signed purchase agreements for 11 Embraer E-Jets leased to four airlines, saying it sees healthy near-term demand for the planes and "longer-term potential for freighter conversions”.

Marriott International has brought forward Australia’s Fair Work Commission’s mandated 4.6 per cent wage increase for workers on award wages and will apply the increase from 01 July, instead of delaying the increase until 01 October, the date set for the hospitality industry.
The accommodation group, which employs 3,300 associates across Australia, will apply the 4.6 per cent increase to 2,500 associates from 1 July.
