The Logistics Association of Australia (LAA) has elected a new board of directors headed up by president Brad Harrison. New directors include Mark Barraclough, Logistics Sales, Dexion (Aust); Joanne Buchanan, Growth by Design; Denis Horder, Denis Horder & Associates; Suzanne Marshall, Komatsu account manager - CEVA Logistics and Mark Pearce, Dexion Integrated Systems. They are joined by committee members Peter Brennan, Joe Famularo, Sunny Garewal, George Hodgson, Kate Hughes, Tim Knox, John Mak, Conor O'Malley, Mike Owen, Bob Partridge, Kim Rothwell and Mal Walker.

German freight operators want to establish a rail service connecting the airports of Frankfurt and Leipzig to move air cargo between the two and believe the first trains could be operating before the end of this year due to the existence of adequate rail terminals in the cargo areas of both airports.
