Viva now taking freight bookings

Viva Macau Airlines is now accepting freight bookings through its Sydney representative GSA Cargo Services for flights starting 09 September. The carrier operates three flights a week between Sydney and Macau on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Contact (02) 9667 3744 or 1300 797 767.

Cass Borthwick has become the first-ever female cargo terminal manager in Australia. Ms Borthwick has been appointed manager Western Australia for Menzies Aviation (previously Perth Cargo Centre). She previously was administration manager.

Toll facility opens at Bankstown

Built at a cost of $9.5 million, Toll Priority's new development at Sydney's Bankstown Airport includes a 7,500 m² warehouse and office building, as well as the associated aircraft apron area. The new depot processes approximately half of the freight generated for the company from firms in the Sydney metropolitan area.
