IAG Cargo steps up with Hurricane Beryl assistance in Grenada

Europe's IAG Cargo is working with the Grenada Overseas Association Manchester and All Saints Parish Church Bedford, alongside the Grenada High Commission in the UK, to transport aid to Grenada following the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl.

The shipment included first aid kits, water purification systems.

Etihad Cargo reported a 17 per cent increase in tonnage from H1 2023 to H1 2024.

Regionally, Etihad Cargo has achieved growth, particularly in the East, where tonnage increased by 19 per cent. The Western region also saw a tonnage increase of 20 per cent, while the UAE experienced a 15 per cent growth in tonnage.

Cargo-partner details rail initiatives

Cargo-partner has recently completed several shipments by block train and air freight to enable time-critical shipments for a pan-European discount variety retailer.
"At the beginning of August, cargo-partner organised the transport of nearly 160 forty-foot containers from six origin locations in China to Poland, Hungary, and Romania,” said Felix Miletich, corporate director product management rail at cargo-partner.
