Singapore Airlines has turned in a full 2008-09 financial year loss of US$245 million, down from a profit of US$132 million the previous year. The carrier also has revealed it suffered an operating loss of US$29 million for the last quarter of the year.

Yangtze River Express flies to USA’s Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) four times a week from May 22. The Shanghai, China-based cargo carrier will deliver an estimated US$20 million to the North Texas region and provide additional cargo lift capacity direct to China.

NCA back to New York

Demand has pushed Japan's Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) to resume flights between Tokyo and New York for the first time in nearly a year. NCA suspended flights between Tokyo Narita and New York in August last year due to rising fuel prices and a limited number of aircraft.
