Subject to Australian federal court approval, European all-cargo airline Cargolux Airlines has agreed to pay approximately A$5 million in penalties to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for breaching the price fixing provisions of the Australian Trade Practices Act. The settlement with the ACCC relates to allegations of fuel surcharge price-fixing in league with other carriers for international air cargo shipments.
