Former chief of Singapore-based freight forwarder Airocean, Thomas Tay Nguen Cheong has been found guilty by a Singapore court of an offence under Section 6 (b) of the Prevention of Corruption Act (Cap 241) and will be sentenced on 07 November. Tay has subsequently resigned from the board of Airocean and its subsidiary companies.
