Large freighter deal for Intrepid

Intrepid Aviation Group has signed with Airbus a firm order for the purchase of 20 A330-200 freighters. This is the largest order received for this aircraft so far. Following a letter of intent signed in the fourth quarter of last year, Intrepid’s order has deliveries starting in 2010 and running through 2012.

Volga-Dnepr Group has signed a contract to purchase two TU-204C cargo aircraft.
The mid-range freighters will be assembled at the Aviastar-SP Production Plant.

Freighter expansion for South American carrier

South American carrier Lan Cargo plans to expand air freight operations and has ordered two B777 freighter aircraft and is in negotiations for two additional B777 freighters that would be integrated into the fleet by 2011.
The airline will be the first in Latin America to operate the B777 freighter when they are delivered in the first quarter of 2009.Lan currently operates nine B767-300F

Etihad adds Brisbane flights
