The law firm involved in the US$200 million legal settlement by British Airways and Virgin Atlantic in the antitrust lawsuit involving fuel surcharge pricing for passenger flights says freight is next. Faced with European Union (EU) allegations that it was part of a global freight price-fixing cartel, Thai Airways International said its cargo tariffs are determined by an official panel set up by the Transport Ministry. Panel members include customers, the airline said.
